Lü Bu Needs a Catapult in King’s Order

Among the many legendary figures of the Three Kingdoms, none stand taller in raw power than Lü Bu. Known as the unrivaled warrior of his era, Lü Bu holds a special place in the hearts of Crickex Login players. Just as Guan Yu is linked with Hedong, Zhang Fei with Zhuo County, and Zhao Yun with Changshan, Lü Bu’s hometown of Jiuyuan (modern-day Baotou) is equally iconic — not for its beef or lamb, but for the warrior often described as “peerless under heaven.”

In modern Three Kingdoms-themed strategy games, developers strive to faithfully recreate the late Eastern Han Dynasty’s geography. In King’s Order: Iron Command, even the smallest villages around Lü Bu’s home are meticulously included. In this game, Lü Bu is not only a powerful triple-skill general, but he can also be equipped with a catapult, making him unmatched at demolishing enemy strongholds. As adults are just children in disguise, giving Lü Bu siege capabilities turns him into a true wrecking machine.

Jiuyuan belonged to Wuyuan Commandery, and this detail is carefully preserved in King’s Order. Although our guild currently has limited influence across Youzhou, we’ve managed to secure the core of Wuyuan, shown as blue tiles in the game’s northwest corner. To expand further, players need to let go of isolated zones and regroup near the main force.

The primary stronghold is Jiuyuan itself, located at coordinates (175, 221) — the administrative center of Wuyuan. Capturing Jiuyuan grants full control over recruitment, taxation, and food distribution within the region. Only top-tier guild members currently have access, so it’s best not to disturb them for now.

Another key city is Dingxiang, which maps to present-day Xinzhou in Shanxi Province, with coordinates (210, 167). Known for its strategic value, Dingxiang frequently appears in historical games. Then there’s Wuxian at (215, 152), overlapping with modern-day Jiexiu. Historically, Wuxian was granted by Duke Wen of Jin to his ministers during the Spring and Autumn period and later became part of the Wei state.

Life gives and takes — just like the famous quote, “The unknown constable of Langmeng,” which put that small town on the map. In fact, Langmeng and Jiuyuan both fell under the same commandery during Lü Bu’s era, meaning even Langmeng’s unremarkable constable could be considered Lü Bu’s fellow townsman — no wonder his combat stats are off the charts.

Beyond these well-known counties, Wuyuan also included other towns such as Xi’anyang, Heyin, Linwo, Yiliang, Chengyi, Manbo, Daling, Zhongling, Zishi, Jiexi, and Zhongdu. Capturing any of these territories puts players right on Lü Bu’s doorstep. Of course, nothing beats recruiting Lü Bu himself. With a catapult skill equipped, Crickex Login players believe he could crush opponents five to ten times his number with ease. In a game of strategy and might, he’s the ultimate ace in the hole.
